Who we are

Have you ever found yourself reliving your youth, only to find that you love something even more than you did when you were young? That’s what happened to our founders, David, Ben & Steve when they started skateboarding again in the Spring of 2024. What started as a way to blow off steam, have some fun and remember halcyon days turned into a way to help mend mental health issues, burn pesky excess calories and ignite a passion for all things skate related.

Pretty early on they had harboured the idea of creating their own clothing range for some time but one afternoon it all just clicked - Out of nowhere, the name Absent Youth popped into David’s head and the idea of a clothing brand brand for the older (and younger) skater was born.

We are young at heart but our youth has disappeared. You could say it is absent! But that doesn’t stop us doing what we love and it shouldn’t stop you. Get out there, shred hard and find your youth!
